Reserve your Thanksgiving turkey from the Barking Chicken Farm!  We will have pasture-raised turkeys available in time for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.  Our broad-breasted turkeys will be rotated through our pasture in the spring and summer, so they will have plenty of natural sunlight to bathe in and green grass to pluck.  Their ability to forage in pasture keeps them healthy and enriches the flavor of their meat. They are fed non-GMO grains from a local farm here in Rensselaer County, supplemented with produce (often from our own garden), including tomatoes, lettuce, and kale. 
 
$3.75/lb. Average weight will be 18-20 lbs. We will let you know the final weight in the fall.  If you have a perference for a larger or smaller bird, please indicate so in your reservation.
